All California-licensed firms that perform accounting and auditing services in accordance with AICPA professional standards are required to undergo peer review. Peer review is a systematic review of a firm's accounting and auditing services performed by a peer reviewer who is unaffiliated with the firm being reviewed to ensure work performed conforms to professional standards.

We at Wayne Long & Co., CPAs continuously strive to improve the quality of accounting and auditing services provided to our clients. The Firm is a proud member of AICPA, where according to the AICPA Bylaws, all active AICPA members in the practice of public accounting must be associated with a firm that participates in an AICPA-approved practice-monitoring program if the firm performs services within the scope of the peer review standards and issues reports in accordance with AICPA professional standards.

Caldwell, Becker, Dervin, Petrick & Co., L.L.P. issued a report on its most recent external peer review in October 2014. In that report, Wayne Long & Co. received a peer review rating of pass for the year ended June 30, 2014. Under the AICPA's Peer Review Standards, firms may receive a rating of pass, pass with deficiency(ies), or fail.
